To many people, 1% may seem insignificant. However through Nu Skin, we just need to focus on growing our business to change more people’s lives. At the same time, this 1% also grows.

I believe that all parent's love their children dearly and would gladly trade theirs lives for the well-being of their children. They all want their children to be born healthy. Unfortunately a lot of babies born with congenital heart disease are from poor families who cannot afford to pay for the surgery and end up waiting for limited services and resources from ill-equipped hospitals.
I am so proud and grateful be part of Nu Skin culture "to be a force for good throughout the world to touch people's lives.” With the SEA Children's Heart Fund. We have helped thousands of children to gain back their lives and health. Nu Skin distributors voluntarily contribute 1% of their earnings to help fund this project. We all know it's every one's mission to save more and more lives. And together we will make the world a better place.
Angela Liew & Rayne Ho
I urge our Nu Skin family to work hard and donate 1% of their commissions to help others. With your contribution, these families will be blessed. With your support, we can help create a better society. Let’s work harder, be more successful and help more people!
Angela Liew
With Nu Skin not only do we have the opportunity to enjoy financial and time freedom, we can learn how to embrace and care for others. We simply need everyone to contribute 1% of what they can. By consolidating our efforts, we will be able to make the world a better place.
Rasyanda (Rara)
Rara’s parents earn a living by selling spices in a traditional market in small city in East Java. When Rara often got sick, the doctor found that she had heart defect and sent her to Cipto Mangunkusumo hospital in Jakarta to get surgery which costs quite high.
Rara got surgery in early December 2013 with the support from Southeast Asia’s Children’s Heart Fund. After her heart surgery, she does not feel tiredness and rarely get sick. This beautiful little girl is ready to face new days in her life.
The biggest gift comes from a sincere heart and I see that through Nu Skin Southeast Asia Children’s Heart Fund. We are able to give, maybe only 1% from what we earn, but with the sincerity that you have, that is the biggest gift for the children.

It has been more than 10 years that we, as one Nu Skin, are helping the needy children throughout South East Asia. And today, we have created more than 6,000 smiles for the little children we support. And do you know what 1% donation means to them? It’s amazing that kids recover fast from a heart surgery. For these kids, waking up the next day after a heart surgery is like living in a totally different world where they can breathe better, play longer, and act like normal kids. An operation gives them a chance at a better life. Unfortunately, there’s a long line of kids waiting to have heart surgery, and some have been waiting for years. Our small contributions can help make this line stop and make a huge difference to the lives of these children.

Ramadhani Binti Muhammad Firdaus
My name is Najihah, and my daughter Ramadhani is almost 9 months old. I’m from Seremban, my husband’s from Kajang, and we live in Nilai, close to both our families.
Ramadhani was born small and didn’t gain much weight. She slept a lot, and we thought she was just calm, but she was actually tired because her heart was working too hard. Her breathing was fast, but we didn’t realize it was a sign. During a check-up, the doctor heard a heart murmur and told us to go straight to the hospital. That moment changed everything.
The waiting and uncertainty were very hard. I decided to leave my job to focus on caring for her. After the surgery, we slowly saw her getting stronger. She started breathing easier, eating better, and smiling more. Her progress is a little slower, but every small milestone means so much to us. Life is different now, but we are truly grateful. Watching her grow is the greatest blessing.
Thank you so much, Nu Skin and SEACHF, for your kindness and generosity. Because of your support, my daughter was able to have the surgery she needed and now has a happy, healthy future ahead. We will always be grateful and remember your kindness.
Please continue your amazing work in helping more children and families like ours. You are truly changing lives, one smile at a time.
Wan Nur Adrea Miqayla Binti Wan Mazri
My name is Nurzalina Binti Mohamad, and my daughter's name is Wan Nur Adrea Miqayla Binti Wan Mazri. She is 2 years and 7 months old, and we are originally from Kuala Lumpur. During my pregnancy, everything was normal, and my daughter was born healthy. However, on the third day after her birth, my husband and I were informed that she had a heart problem. Since birth, she had been admitted to the NICU due to sepsis. Initially, we were told that she had one large hole in her heart, but we would need to wait for an appointment at the government hospital for a more thorough examination.
After about a month, we finally received an appointment at the government hospital for a comprehensive heart check-up. Following the examination, my husband and I were informed that our daughter had two VSD holes and an ASD, and that she needed to be hospitalized immediately, as her condition required urgent surgery. After returning from the hospital, her condition worsened, and she became completely dependent on CPAP and BPAP machines.
We had to wait a long time for a surgery date at the government hospital. Since her condition was deteriorating, we sought other options and eventually learned about assistance from Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Nu Skin and SEACHF. We hope that Nu Skin and SEACHF continue to be successful and can continue running programs like this so that many more children, like Miqayla, can receive the help they need.
Ramadhani Binti Muhammad Firdaus
My name is Nor Zatur Rawihah binti Abdul Moin, and my son is 12 years old. We are from Klang, Selangor.
My son has Tetralogy of Fallot with absent pulmonary valve syndrome. His first surgery was performed at IJN when he was 10 months old. However, the doctors explained that the artificial valve would need to be replaced as he grows. In 2024, we were informed that a second surgery was required. Around the same time, my son’s health began to deteriorate. He frequently had fevers and difficulty breathing, became less active, and often sat alone because he tired easily.
After the surgery, my son showed positive changes. He was able to breathe more comfortably, became happier, and started engaging in leisure activities and light exercise.
Thank you to Nu Skin and SEACHF for the help and contributions given to my son. I am deeply grateful, as this support has given my son the opportunity to be healthy and active again, just like other children.

Before the surgery, my daughter often had bluish lips and nails due to a lack of oxygen. After the surgery, she became very active, and her skin also became brighter. I am very grateful for this positive change. After going through critical moments at IJN, our daughter regained her health with the help of the dedicated experts there who managed to save her life. This experience left a deep impression on us and had a significant impact on our family.
We would also like to thank IJNF for the assistance provided in covering most of our daughter’s medical costs. Not forgetting Nu Skin, the Wish List program brought a smile to our precious daughter. Thank you for this meaningful care and support.
Kalki A/P Gunasegaran
My name is Shamini, my child is 3 months old baby. We are from Klang, Selangor. She has been diagnosed with multiple heart issues, including TGA, DORV, and VSD. We cannot fully describe her condition yet because we don’t know exactly what is happening until the doctors explain it to us. She is experiencing difficulty breathing. The doctors have planned the first surgery, which will include a PA band and a balloon atrial septostomy.
It has been quite challenging because she is our first child, and we didn’t know anything about caring for a baby with a heart condition. After her surgery, she was hospitalized at HTAR for one month, and once we returned home, we had to manage many things, including her wound care, her medications before and after feeding, and constantly monitoring her oxygen levels. I also lost my job because no babysitter was willing to accept her due to the high risk, so I am now taking care of her full-time. She still has another major surgery planned at IJN, as the doctor informed us during her discharge, and we truly hope that our daughter will be able to live a healthy and happy life after the operation.
Thank you, Nu Skin and SEACHF, for the support, kindness, and hope you have given to our family during this difficult time. Your help means more to us than words can express, and it has brought strength and comfort when we needed it most. We are truly grateful for your generosity and compassion. From the bottom of our hearts, we pray and hope that our daughter will recover and grow up healthy and happy. Thank you for being part of our journey. With love and heartfelt appreciation from our family.

Nur Medina Asyifa Binti Mohamad Fauzi
My name is Mohamad Fauzi Abdul Rahman, and my daughter is 5 years old. We are from Selangor.
Before the surgery, my daughter’s condition was very worrying. When her oxygen levels were around 75% or lower, her lips and nails would turn blue due to a lack of oxygen. After the surgery, my daughter’s condition improved, and her appetite has also increased.
We would like to thank Nu Skin and SEACHF for sponsoring our daughter’s surgery. This support means a lot to our family. We hope Nu Skin continues to do well and can help more patients with heart conditions at IJN in the future.

After the TOF Correction surgery, the changes were very noticeable. Raisha's oxygen levels are now normal, her skin is no longer blue, and her appetite has improved. She has also become more active and can play like normal children.
Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to Nu Skin and SEACHF for their contribution and concern for children in need of heart treatment, like our child. This assistance has not only eased our burden as parents but also given our child new hope for a healthier and happier life.
